What was the problem the customer needed solving?
An accountant who handed out 3 bound copies of each customers accounts once a year was looking for the best solution. Each set of accounts was between 10 and 20 pages and needed to lay flat on a desk. They would not be a large user, probably doing no more that 400 books a year in total. The accounts needed to look smart and be able to last for a minimum of seven years.
How did we help them solve the problem?
We suggested wire binding, the reasons for this were that the books would be durable, smart and lay flat. We suggested a clear acetate cover on the front and a navy leathergrain back to match their logo. We gave them the option of either blue or silver 8mm wire to compliment the navy back, this would comfortably cover the amount of pages in their documents. The machine we suggested was the WM771 Manual Wire Binding Machine, it is our entry level machine and perfectly capable of handling the quantities required
